Appreciative exploration
This training tool helps you to discover and use a method of collective intelligence to imagine and implement, with the greatest chances of success, change projects, either at the level of individuals or at the level of organizations. Those who have done Scouting will easily find themselves there. They have a taste for exploration and take a positive look at the world.
Old Baden-Powell precoded what appreciative exploration is: "There are five per cent good, even in the most bad temper. The game consists of finding it, then developing it to a base of 80 or 90 percent.
The opposite approach consists of paying attention to defects, problems and shortcomings, and it leads to failure most of the time, both in the field of education and in the field of organizational management. It is not a matter of ignoring the problems, but of asking 'what are our strengths to be able to do better?'
Appreciative exploration makes us discover a truth that every leader should meditate on: OUR ABILITY TO CREATE POSITIVE IMAGES, ANTICIPATING THE FUTURE, IS A COGNITIVE SKILL WE MUST DEVELOP.
