APAC and the Paradigma Foundation for the Cordoba Forum have joined forces to produce this special issue on convivance. The “Cordoba Forum, World Convivence Forum”, held in Cordoba in May 2019, is an initiative of Fundación Paradigma Córdoba.

This periodic event aims to celebrate the interreligious and intercultural spirit of the historic city of Cordoba to facilitate and enhance the work of those committed to creating a just and inclusive society.

The art of living together in harmony, convivance was practiced in the Middle Ages from the 10th to the 13th century, in the Umayyad Sultanate of Cordoba. Jews, Muslims and Christians were said to live in harmony, and together they developed a magnificent civilization. In 136 pages and thirty articles, this issue presents the concept of convivance, its history, the values that underpin it, its applications in society and its place in art.

APAC y la Fundación Paradigma para el Foro de Córdoba se han unido para producir este número especial sobre la convivialidad. El "Foro de Córdoba, Foro Mundial de la Convivencia", que se celebrará en Córdoba en mayo de 2019, es una iniciativa de la Fundación Paradigma Córdoba.

Este evento periódico tiene como objetivo celebrar el espíritu interreligioso e intercultural de la histórica ciudad de Córdoba para facilitar y potenciar el trabajo de aquellos comprometidos con la creación de una sociedad justa e inclusiva.

La convivialidad, el arte de vivir juntos en armonía, se practicaba en la Edad Media, entre los siglos X y XIII, en el sultanato omeya de Córdoba. Judíos, musulmanes y cristianos vivían en armonía y juntos desarrollaron una magnífica civilización. En 136 páginas y treinta artículos, este número presenta el concepto de convivencia, su historia, los valores que la sustentan, sus aplicaciones en la sociedad y su lugar en el arte.
