The Cooperative World Magazine Publications and training on cooperative methods

GSEF, global forum for the SSE

From October 29 to 31, 2025, the 7th World Forum on the Social and Solidarity Economy was held for the first time in France, in Bordeaux. Approches Coopératives participated, and this issue, produced in partnership with the GSEF (Group for Social and Solidarity Economy), reports on the event through a series of articles and 18 interviews.

The GSEF brought together more than 10,000 people in Bordeaux, including 3,000 young people from 101 countries, to celebrate the strength that the social and solidarity economy now represents everywhere—in France, of course, but also across Europe and the five continents—as a proven driver of justice and economic inclusion.

This is my first time to visit this website, and I'm already liking it. Mr. Dominique Benard, President of the Association for the Promotion of Cooperative Approaches (APAC) and Publishing Director of Approches Cooperatives shared with me a copy of the English version of the publication "GSEF, global forum for the SSE". His interview with me (page 31) was highly engaging. Reading the contents of the publication has broadened and deepened my understanding of the various perspectives shared in the event, as it was not possible for a participant to cover all the activities simultaneously undertaken. I will surely share this publication to the network members and partners of the Asian Solidarity Economy Council (ASEC), the continental network of RIPESS in Asia.
