Access to housing is a right recognized by the United Nations and the European Union. But access to decent housing is a real challenge in our rapidly urbanizing world. Even in a wealthy country like France, a growing number of people are homeless and living on the streets.
The Cooperative Approaches team met with various housing stakeholders in France and abroad to explore the different facets of this issue: public policies; housing, living environment, and the environment; housing and employment; housing for the most vulnerable; and housing and community living.
