This little book was written in 2005, by Dominique Bénard and Jacqueline Collier, based on the experience gained in the European Scout Office of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, to help the new National Scout Organizations in Eastern Europe to develop their educational program. It is designed to be read in conjunction with "The Green Island". The Renewed Program Approach, or RAP as it is more commonly known, is designed for leaders of National Scout Associations who wish to create or improve their youth program.
RAP was developed by the European Scout Bureau in close collaboration with the Interamerican Scout Bureau and the Educational Methods Group of the World Scout Bureau.
This booklet contains eleven toolkit documents presenting the different steps of the renewed program approach.
